In December of 2007 I was contacted by a fan of the band who said to let him know my feelings on the guitar solo, and additional ideas he added to the song Darkness.

This original recording showed a lot of potential, and in my opinion really grasped the original idea of the song.

I wrote back asking for just the guitar tracks. I promised I would take the time to create a new mix of the song. This entailed borrowing a lot of old gear which I no longer owned.
ADATS and a Dat Machine.

Within 2 weeks I had borrowed the gear and I was going through all of the old tapes.

A FULL DAY LATER (Yes I looked through tapes and cd's all day). I had found the tape with the original vocals from Darkness. 10 years ago I did not have much of filing system. So this song was called "song one" probably because it was the first one I recorded with Daniel Lang.

This new Version of Darkness is more like a Duet with Lori and Daniel. Much like the original intention of the song. Mending the lyrics of the past with the music of today. I decided to combine the beginnings of A.D. with current A.D.
